drumming up power

HANA Center hosted and collaborated with STOP – Southside Together Organizing for Power, the Lawndale Christian Legal Center, and the Bultasa Buddhist Temple of Chicago's musical ensemble. This event was in partnership with Inherit Chicago, a city wide, intercultural festival of art, ideas and performance at neighborhood heritage museums and cultural centers. Here is an excerpt of HANA Center's youth drummers performing during the two hour program.

After HANA Center's youth drummers performed, the Bultasa Buddhist Temple of Chicago's musical ensemble showcased a wide array of traditional Korean instruments for the audience.
